Traveling from Mcintyre's Resort to Dead and Company
Dead and Company Campers:
We are pleased to offer our guests bus service to and from the Alpine shows on July 9 and 10. As a courtesy to our campers, school buses have been secured from an outside bus company not affiliated with the resort. They will board at 3 p.m., and depart at 3:15 p.m. from the top of the resort driveway both days of the show.
The cost is $40 per person, per night, round-trip. Your bus ticket is a wristband specific to that night's show. Wristbands can be purchased at the resort office when you check-in. We expect all buses to be full, so make sure you get your wristbands when you check in.
We know this 3 p.m. departure time is early, but do not control it as the bus company is separate from the resort. Thanks for understanding that. We HIGHLY recommend the buses, and you can bring coolers and similar supplies on them. Drinking alcohol for those of-age is permitted on the buses. Smoking is not.
The buses will take you onto the venue grounds, park and then be in that same spot when the show ends. Please be as kind to the bus drivers as you are to us. They have a hard job. Watch out for companions who are under-the-influence so the drivers can focus on driving.
If you don't want to drive your own car, or take the bus, that just leaves local cab companies or Uber.
IF YOU OPT TO TAKE A CAB OR UBER, PLEASE KNOW THAT WE DO NOT COORDINATE THOSE SERVICES. YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN WITH THOSE ARRANGEMENTS, AND THERE ARE ONLY A HANDFUL OF CAB COMPANIES IN OUR RURAL COUNTY. UBER IS HERE, BUT NOT IN THE NUMBERS OF MAJOR CITIES. CABS AND UBER WILL BE EXTREMELY BUSY DURING THESE SHOWS.
Also, please be aware cab companies and Uber CANNOT drive onto the venue grounds to drop you off, nor can they drive onto the venue grounds to pick you up. Instead, they will drop you off on one of the roads leading to the venue, and attempt to pick you up in the same location. However, they cannot always pick you up in the same spot due to traffic patterns and law enforcement directives.
IF YOU OPT TO GET TO AND FROM THE CONCERT VIA A CAB OR UBER, BE PREPARED TO WALK A FAIR DISTANCE, AND BE PREPARED FOR SUBSTANTIAL DELAYS GETTING BACK TO THE RESORT AFTER THE SHOW IS OVER.
If you plan on taking a cab or using Uber, call ahead, make a reservation and leave NONE of this to chance. Phone numbers for cabs will be posted in the resort office when you check in.
